Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - also popularly known as Gugu is a British stage and film actress. She gained fame after appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who', a British science fiction television series. Gugu scored a huge hit in the series as Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu was destined for an acting career after the audience was captivated by the vivacious and spirited personality. Her other stage and TV shows in Britain include many other productions. Her work has been critically acclaimed due to her stellar performance in "Belle," (2013) the British period drama as well as 'Beyond the Lights' (2014) which is a romantic comedy. Also, she appeared in American television productions like "Undercover" which is a Tom Hanks comedy film, as well as the series "Touch". Gugu Mbatha Raw performed the role of a leading character of a mistress and actress in the show "Nell Gwynn," performed in the role of Jessica Swale. The actress received lots of praise from critics that were extremely pleased with her acting skills and got recognized for her prestigious 'Evening Standard Theatre Award for the Best Actress. Chelsea Joy Handler, born on February 25, 1975, at Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. The family was comprised of six members and Chelsea Joy Handler the youngest. Her parents were householders. Her father worked as a auto dealer. Her mother is German who came to America in the United States from Germany in 1958. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in the year 1989. She died after battling cancer for the past ten years. Handler was born into the family of a Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler was blessed with a joyful and healthy being raised in a wealthy neighborhood. Handler was 19 when she made the decision to relocate into Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler worked as an actor to help support her family. When she turned 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time profession because she realized her story telling skills. Handler's career started with an acting gig in an all-female cast for the Oxygen channel's reality TV show Girls acting badly. It was a combination of cameras hidden in the background and practical humor. From 2002 until 2005, the show was aired. The host went on to work in many other shows like Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice as well as Weekends at D.L. Handler started her career as a journalist for The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 by hosting her E! show. The show was named the Chelsea Handler Series. The show ran for two seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have been able to broadcast live stand-up shows. It was announced in 2010 that she would host the MTV Video Music Awards 2010. She became the second women in history, behind Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
