Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson (born July 7th in 1968) is an American actor who is famous for her portrayals as Linda Reagan in the CBS police procedural Blue Bloods and as Alex Taylor on the NBC drama Third Watch, and Josie Watts in the NBC daytime soap drama Another World.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois"DuPage County" Illinois], close to Chicago. She was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), schoolteachers. Carlson is of Swedish descent and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-92: College and beginning of career
She first came to Hollywood as a supporting actor in the film Lucas starring Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She then followed her elder sister Betsy who attended Knox College in Galesburg.
